Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is composed of 11-15 representatives of effective members and its structure reflects the structure of KEN membership in terms of spheres of activities and geography.
The Steering Committee meets at least 3 times a year – and at the request of at least one third of its members.
The term of office of the Steering Committee members is 3 years. The Steering Committee has a chairman and a vice-chairman.
The functions of the Steering Committee are the following:
- defines KEN strategy and programme priorities;
- grants honorary membership;
- approves all documents to be submitted to the General Meeting;
- appoints the Board members and its chairman;
- deliberates on issues proposed by the general meeting and other bodies.
